Many games and server mods will need to know your SteamID for enabling admin permissions, etc. This article will explain how to find your SteamID, SteamID3, or SteamID64.

Finding your SteamID64

Using your profile URL

If you do not have a custom URL set in steam, you can find your SteamID64 in your profile URL. For example if your steam profile URL was http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198060570011 then your SteamID64 would be 76561198060570011.

Using external tools

If you do however have a custom URL set up for your profile, you will need to convert it using online tools. There are multiple websites, such as steamid.co or steamidfinder.com, that allow you to find your SteamID64 based on your profile URL. For this example we will be using steamidfinder.com. Simply go to the website, enter your Steam profile URL in to the search box and click 'Get SteamId'.

This site will also work with SteamID, SteamID3 and SteamID64 if you happen to know one of them but not the others.

Finding your SteamID3

In-game

Many Source games, such as Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, allow you to find your SteamID3 via the in-game console. Simply enter the command 'status' in the console and it will print a list of player names currently on the server and their respective SteamID3s.
