Beacon for GPortal custom drops (ARK)

    I am new on all this server rental. I rented a PS4 Ark server to playing with friends and maybe create a community.

    I am almost done with the settings, but I want to make custom drops.

    I downloaded Beacon and tried to set it up, but I do not know how to add the customization into the server.

    Could anyone please help me out? I've been trying in youtube for tutorials, but they are all for another

    server rental website (you should know which one :P), but I don't kno how to apply it into GPortal server.

  • Hi, just copy the game.ini that is generated in beacon, and add it to the game.ini in your control panel.

    I did it yesterday, but it does not work. is there anything I should do for it to work, prior to adding it up to the game.ini ????

  • okay, so stop the server, load your game.ini


    this is one of the ps4's ini's on beacon, remove the top two lines, and then add after the end of your text int he game.ini Makesure there are no blank lines between the end and the added text
